09/29/06: Representing Brooklyn!
We're still back and forth with the organizers of the "Let's Go Steady Debbie" contest and CMJ. We haven't gotten all the details, but we can tell you the show will take place on Friday, November 3rd at Studio B in Brooklyn. That's about all we know right now. We don't know which other bands are playing, our time slot or if the show is even open to the public. We should be finding out that information this week.
For those of you who remember the drunken good times of the Marty's Halloween shows, you may be in for a treat! echo station & Set Theory are working out the details of playing a Halloween show on Friday, October 27th at Paulie's Bar & Grill in Elmsford, NY. This show is not confirmed on our end just yet, but will be posted as soon as we know.
We are getting amped up for the showcase. Steve and I saw The Killers last week at Webster Hall and Andy saw Less Than Jake last night. There's nothing like seeing a good live show to reinvigorate your desire to play!
Stay tuned as we hope to iron out the details on these two shows ASAP.
